According to figures given out by Mr. Geer's office, 556 Freshmen are taking some form of exercise. Of these 322 are in organized sports, while the remainder, 237, are in unorganized athletics, including tennis, which has not yet been organized for Freshmen this year. Crew, as usual, is the most popular sport, running forty ahead of its nearest competitor, tennis. Though only 87 are signed up for track, there are considerably more out but are temporarily signed up for some other sport such as soccer or football. At present only 16 men have signed up for lacrosse and this number must be increased to at least 36 in order to carry out the plans for the interdormitory championship. The following are the complete figures: Crew,  137 Singles (Wherries),  29 Class Baseball,  23 Interdormitory Baseball,  26 Lacrosse,  16 Equitation (Military Science),  19 Track,  87 Soccer,  3 Handball,  31 Tennis,  98 Corrective Work,  55 Swimming,  34
