Mr. F. W. Moore '93, Graduate manager of the H. A. A., received the following cablegram yesterday from Oxford University, England, concerning the proposed meet between the combined Oxford and Cambridge squads and the combined squads of Harvard and Yale: Manager, Harvard Athletic Association:

Anxious accept, but combined team unable leave England until early July. Is end July possible for meet? or middle September, and could Oxford-Princeton dual meet and Cambridge-Cornell if arranged take place as well during visit? Writing. (Signed) Rudd

Major Moore said yesterday that under these conditions, there is little liklihood of the meet being arranged, since it would necessitate keeping the squads in training for a full month after the season would normally end.
