Dr. T. N. Carver, professor of Political Economy at the University and a member of the American Association of University Professors, has recently accepted a position from this organization as to the financial remuneration of university professors.

The association at present has a membership of more than 3600, distributed among 169 colleges and universities throughout the country. The reports this organization has put out on academic freedom and tenure are rated by prominent educators as being among the most hopeful signs in American life today Professor Seligman of Columbia is president of the association.
