As a result of the preliminaries of the French speaking contest for the "France Amerique" prize medal, the following men have been selected: C. A. Gage '22, Hector Lazo '21, H. B. M. Maguire '21, Hendrick Pruyn '22, R. O. Spero '24, and R. C. Walcott '22. Assistant Professor Mercier, who, with Assistant Professor R. L. Hawkins '03 and Mr. E. L. Raiche, judged the preliminaries on Wednesday evening, has announced that the final contest will take place on Friday, May 20. Each of the six competitors will speak in French for ten minutes on some subject connected with French civilization. The winner will be announced at the close of the speeches.
