B. U. NINE WORSTED BY CRIMSON, 5 TO 1

University's playing Not Up to Usual Standard--Conlon's Work in Field and at Bat Feature--Stumcke Star for Visiting Team

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Hitting opportunely and taking advantage of their opponents' errors the University nine downed Boston University on Soldiers Field yesterday afternoon by the score of 5-1. The Crimson players did not, however, show their best form either at bat or in the field, letting the opposing pitcher but of more than one hole and, in an orgy of wild throwing in the seventh, practically presented B. U. with their only run.

The University made seven hits, notably Russell's high double into right field, but failed to get them in bunches. Those of the visitors were also scattered, and, besides, were not aided by the clover bunting and base-running employed by the University players.
