Applications for preliminary examination must be filed immediately and can be obtained from the Military Science Department or from any military post, where the detailed requirements can also be ascertained.

The first examination will be held on April 25 for 2,595 vacancies, distributed as follows: Infantry, 812; Cavalry, 35; Field Artillery, 600; Coast Artillery, 268; Engineers, 118; Air Service, 400; Signal Corps, 114; Quartermaster Corps, 35; Ordnance Department, 86; Chemical Warfare Service, 32; and Philippine Scouts, 85.

Successful candidates will be announced and nominated for appointment about two months after the examination, giving them an opportunity to complete the present College year.
