George "Chippie" Gaw will Coach the second University baseball squad this spring. It was announced yesterday by the H. A. A. Gaw has played in the big leagues as well as the minor; he was a pitcher with the Boston Nationals several years ago and before that played on the Buffalo team of the International League. He has just completed his duties as hockey coach at M. I. T.

Coach Gaw held his first practice with the second team men yesterday afternoon, and in spite of the cold wind, a sufficient workout was possible for testing the material. Twenty-two men reported, of whom George Cabot Lee Jr. '21 of Westwood has been appointed captain. Eleven games have been scheduled for the second team season, the first to be played with Andover on April 30.
