SUB-COMMITTEES APPOINTED TO TAKE CHARGE OF 1924 JUBILEE

J. C. Buchanan Chosen Jubilee Secretary--Invitations to Be Ready Next Week--Other Arrangements Being Made

The Freshman Jubilee Committee, meeting yesterday afternoon in the Standish Hall Common Room, formed definite plans for 1924's big spring social event which will be held this year on May 30, Memorial Day. The following sub-committees were appointed to take charge of their respective fields:

Music Committee.--J. T. Baldwin, Brooks Potter and K. S. Pfaffman.

Dinner Committee.--W. R. Baylies, G. Bemis, A. C. Bickford and H. N. Pratt.

Committee on Patronesses.--C. C. Colt, Harrison Gardner and Henry Wheeler Jr.

Committee on Distributing Invitations.--Standish Bradford, G. H. Carey and Campbell Newhall.

Committee on Miscellany.--C. W. Farnham Jr., T. P. Mandell and F. A. O. Schwarz.

Arrangements are being made to procure the services of two prominent Boston orchestras. The invitations for the Jubilee are expected to be printed by the end of next week. In order to speed up the Jubilee plans a Secretary, John Carroll Buchanan of Boston, has been appointed.
