Today is the last day on which men may enter the University Boxing Tournament. As yet very few have shown their intention of competing in the heavyweight and light heavyweight divisions.
The first trials will be held in the Hemenway Gymnasium on Tuesday, March 29, at 8 o'clock. After these preliminaries there will be no bouts until April 1, when the semi-finals and finals will be held.
All men who are planning to enter the tournament, and have not yet reported to Dr. Parmenter for physical examinations, must do so on Monday or Tuesday, when he will be in his office at Weld 4 from 2 to 3 o'clock. Men who have not had physical examinations will not be permitted to compete in the tournament.
