1923 AND 1924 COMPETITIONS START

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Work in the 1923 and 1924 news and photographic competitions for the CRIMSON will start tonight at 7 o'clock in the CRIMSON Building on Plympton Street. Sophomores and Freshmen, whether or not they attended the meeting in Standish Hall last night, will report then to the respective heads of the news and photographic departments. The length of this competition has been shortened by two weeks because of the new system of overlapping competitions and so will last but ten weeks. The work required of the competitors is hard but interesting. The competitions are run on a point basis, taking into consideration a candidate's general value to the paper and all around ability as well.
