R. O. T. C. to Have Target Range at Waverly--Preparation for Matches with Other College Starts Today

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Major Goetz announced yesterday that the Military Department had obtained permission to construct a pistol range on the ground in Waverly, used in 1918 by the R. O. T. C. for maneuvers. The targets have been put in place by the enlisted detachment, and the ranges have been measured.

The first shooting practice will be held there this afternoon, when men will be taken by truck to the range. Before the end of the week all members of the R. O. T. C. who expect to try for places on the pistol team will have shot the qualification course. These making the necessary score will shoot for record next week; places on the team for the first matches, depending on the showing made at the time.
