24 Rifle Team Defeats Elis, 485-480

The Freshman rifle team defeated the Yale yearlings by the score, 485 to 480, it was learned last evening after the Yale team had shot. Captain R. T. Potter led the field with a score of 99, and F. A. Royce and Harry Eldridge were tied for second place for the University with 97 each. Other qualifying Crimson men were A. B. Best, C. F. Howard and G. B. carpenter, each with 96.
