In a one-sided meet in Hemenway Gymnasium on Saturday afternoon the University foilsmen decisively beat the Bowdoin College team 7-2. Captain Ogden of the losers was the only man to win for them, defeating W. R. Brewster '22, and Burke Boyce '22, of the Crimson team. Captain Ordway was the mainstay of the University fencers, and he easily won decisions over his three opponents, while Brewster won two of his. Boyce defeated Osterman of Bowdoin, and lost to Captain Ogden. R. P. Rogers '21 substituted for Boyce in the last match, and won a decisive victory over Taylor of the losers.
