Man Who Managed Clients for High-End Cambridge Brothel Network Pleads Guilty
The Crimson and the Blue will meet in the first ice hockey contest of their 1921 three-game series in the Ice Palace at Philadelphia tonight at 8.30 o'clock. The seven-man style of play has been agreed upon by the managements, and twenty-minute periods are planned.
Captain Bigelow's men will meet the Bull Dog with the strongest combination presented so far this season. A week of rest and intensive drilling after the overwhelming victory over Princeton at the Arena last Saturday has brought the seven to the top of its powers, while the return to the line-up of Buntin, the versatile left center, will add materially to the speed of the opening combination.
Yale Has Had Hard Time
Yale has been handicapped throughout the season by insufficient practice due to lack of good ice, and by the fact that no high board rink is available at New Haven. Following an indifferently successful Christmas trip, the Eli outfit had defeat chalked against its name once, Princeton scoring a 4-2 win in overtime. Columbia, playing hockey for the first time in a decade, went down to the tune of 9-5 in the only other contest of the regular Yale schedule to date.
With a view to combating the vigorous offensive play which Harvard is sure to set in motion, Captain Carson contemplates several shifts in line-up. Shiras will be advanced from the defense to the forward line, and Carson will likely take his place at point, replacing Griscom, who will open at left wind. Bulkley, a high-scorer for the Blue combination, will prove a dangerous opponent at the right extremity.
Luncheon at the Harvard Club of New York this morning for the entire squad will precede the trip from that city to Philadelphia. Since most of the Crimson players have previously performed on the Ice Palace surface, no time will be set apart for practice before the game.
