The appointment Office has been requested to recommend two men for teaching positions at the Los Alamos Ranch Outdoor School for Boys. One position is that of instructor in mathematics, physics, and mechanical drawing: the other that of instructor in French, Latin, and History. Musical and athletic ability are desirable, but not necessary qualifications of candidates for the positions which will be open this coming September.
The Los-Alanes Ranch is an outdoor school for boys, located in the Santa Fe National Forest Reserve. It takes boys from 12 to 18 years of age, and fits for college. Most of the school work is done out-of-doors, and there is also a well-filled program of out-door activities, such as horseback riding, ranching, and camping trips through the surrounding country. The positions are fine opportunities for men who would like to live an out-door lite. Any further information regarding these positions can be obtained from the Appointment Office, University 11.
