Crimson Team No Match for Yale Tankmen--Captain Brackett Takes Only First Place for Harvard

In their annual meet the University swimmers went down to a 37-16 defeat before the championship Yale tankmen. Although several of the Eli regulars were absent from the line-up. Captain A. H. Brackett ocC., was the only Crimson swimmer to take a first place.

The summary:

Relay.--Won by Yale (Shaffer, Cook, Tyler, Higgins); second, Harvard (Wyman, Thayer, Rittenberg, Parsons). Time, 1m, 47s.

Diving.--Won by Ferguson (Y.); second, Carson (Y.); third, Doherty (R.)

50-Yard Dash.--Won by Brackett(R.); second, Johnson (R.); third, Shaffer (Y.) Time, 27s.

220-Yard Swim.--Won by Townsend (Y.); second, Hopkins (Y.); third, Douglass (R.) Time, 2m, 41s.

Plunge.-Won by Guernsey (Y.); second, Thomas (H.); third, Wood (Y.) Distance, 74 ft. 2 in.

100-Yard Swim.--Won by Higgins (Y.); second, Brackett (H.); third, Neville (Y.) Time, 1m 2 4-5s.
