As the result of a ten weeks' competition. Howard Phillips '23, of Orange, Florids, and Allan Salter Hays '24, of Buffale. New York, were appointed second assistant manager of the University swimming team and manager of the Freshman team respectively.

After the Freshman time trisls yesterday afternoon Frederick Taylor Potter '24 of Nowton Center was elected captain of the Freshman swimming team. Potter has been acting captain of the team, and he swims in the fifty and hundred yard dashes. These appointments are subject to the approval of the Athlete Committee and the student Counsel.
