The annual meeting of the Harvard University Christian Association will be held this evening at 7.30 in the parlor of Phillips Brooks House. At this meetings reports of the various committees will be read, and officers for the coming year elected. The nominating committee has proposed the following candidates for the officers:
President.--John Sedgwick Barss '22 of Windsor, Conn.
Vice-President.--Wesley Goodwin Brocker '22 of Lindstrom, Minn.
Secretary.--George Lyman Paine Jr. '22 of New Haven, Conn.
Treasurer.--John Rogers Flather '23 of Lowell.
Members of the Association had the privilege of making nominations by petition, but not additional nominations were made.
The Reverend James Gordon Gilkey '12, who is the Chapel preacher this week, will speak on "Can the Church Survive the Present Social Order?" Following the talk opportunity will be given to ask questions. The meeting will close after refreshments are served.
Although the meetings primarily for members of the Christian Association, it is open to all students in the University, and it is hoped that as many as possible will attend.
