PROVIDENCE, R. I., February 23.--In a close meet here this evening, the Crimson matmen nosed out the Brown wrestlers by a score of 14-11, the University grapplers winning one fall and three decisions to one fall and two decisions for Brown. The surprise of the evening came when C. A. C. Eastman '23 defeated Shurleff of Brown by decision in an overtime bout, Shurleff not having been defeated before in the last two years. Captain J. F. Brown '22 decided the meet when he won a decision over Stelman of Brown in an overtime session.
