New Hampshire State College is sending an unusually powerful basketball team against the University this evening in Hemenway Gymnasium at 8 o'clock. Every man on the team has the capability of holding his own in a game against any team, and Captain Anderson is rated as the best center in intercollegiate circles today. His tall, rangy build, coupled with his accuracy in shooting, has made him a dreaded opponent for two years. Two others, Butler and Perry, are also of two years' experience and are hard, steady players on the forward position, and Sherwood, a new man, is keeping pace with the others.

N. H. Men Victors Over Brown

Comparative scores of the University and her opponents of this evening point to an advantage for the latter, for they defeated Brown only a bit less decisively than the Providence team swamped the University last Friday, and Worcester Polytech, which has outclassed the University in two games this winter, managed to win a bare two-point victory on its home court over the New Hampshire men. Bates, Tufts and Middlebury are among the defeated teams.

Coach Wachter will have to offer a much weaker team than that of a month ago. Fitts and Feiring will be playing under the handicap of injuries not yet fully recovered, and Chase, if he plays, will have to hold himself somewhat in reserve in order to favor a sprained ankle. Pallo, the only remaining uninjured member of the original regular five, has fallen off in playing in the last two games so much that Hartley will take his place at forward and McLeish will play at center while Tyson is out of the game.
