An extensive programme of concerts and dances for the next three months is being planned for by the management of the University band, including visits to towns in the neighborhood. Most of the concerts will be followed by dances. During the spring recess, the band will make a several days' tour, holding concerts in Worcester, Springfield, Albany, New York City, and possibly in New Haven. Practice is held every week for the sixty or more band members, but more men playing stringed instruments are still needed.
Excluding the spring trip and possible concerts at Reading, Brockton, Springfield, and Salem, the following dates constitute the tentative schedule:
The Union on March 11, Haverhill on March 18, Brookline on March 19, Natick on March 25, Framingham on March 28, Wellesley on April 1, Arlington on April 8, Cambridge High and Latin School on April 29, and Arena may 21.
