During the first period the play was close, both teams playing at top speed with the ball going from one end of the floor to the other in attempts to score. In the second half, however, the Freshmen scored almost at will, while holding the Academy team to only three tallies from scrimmage, while the 1924 players caged seventeen shots from the floor. Score, Freshmen 61, Dean 20. Baskets from floor, Sipp 10, Gordon 7, Stevens 6, Tierney 3, Jenkins 3, Preo. Free throws, Tierney 6, Gordon 5. Referee, Coady. Two twenty-minute periods.
