The Student Liberal Club of the University will hold its first meeting of the second semester in the Trophy Room of the Union at 7.30 this evening. "Education at Harvard" with special reference to the proposed Oxford tutorial system will be the topic on which Professor R. K. Hack will speak and which will be thrown open to general discussion during the latter part of the evening. The amount of publicity both favorable and adverse that the tutorial system has recently received and the extensive criticism of educational methods in the United States, has made the topic one of sufficient interest, in the opinion of the officers of the Liberal Club, to warrant a special meeting for its discussion. In addition there will be a brief business session at which four amendments to the constitution of the club will be considered.
