Yale candidates reported for regular practice for the first time yesterday with prospects of rowing in the harbor by Monday. Guy Nickals, head coach of the Yale University crew, is expected to arrive from England about March 1 to take charge of the oarsmen, who will have about six weeks' work under his tutelage before the first race of the season with Pennsylvania on April 16.
