GLEE CLUB EXHIBIT IN WIDENER

Photographs and Mementos of European Trip on View in Treasure Room

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

In the Treasure Room of Widener Library there is now an exhibition of photographs and mementos of the Glee Club's European trip. There are more than 250 snapshots dealing with every phase of the trip. These are arranged by cities, and show chiefly the buildings visited and prominent people who were met, but there are many, also; showing happenings and groups of individuals who made the trip.

In addition to the photographs there are several posters advertising concerts and also programs of every concert given on the tour. Together with these there are newspaper clippings, comprising criticisms and trip history, arranged by cities.

One of the most interesting features of the exhibit is a collection of autographs of notable people who entertained the Club. Among these is an autographed menu of a banquet at the Cercle Interallie at which Marshal Foch presided.
