Tomorrow evening the last CRIMSON business competition, open to members of the class of 1924, will start with a meeting at the Crimson Building at 7 o'clock. The competition will last about 12 weeks with no intensive work during the mid-year examination period and no work during the Christmas Recess.
Successful candidates are eligible to the position of Business Manager in their Senior year. This position is generally considered by graduates, engaged in business, as the most valuable training for a business career obtainable in the College; it offers excellent opportunity for business administration and includes general supervision of all CRIMSON business--finance, advertising, buying, circulation, and general organization.
As candidates men will come into touch with advertisers of New York, Boston and the vicinity and will receive an excellent opportunity to view the field of advertising from all sides. In addition candidates will be given opportunity to learn the fundamentals of newspaper management and finance.
