The date for the 1922 debate for the Pasteur medal has been provisionally set for Thursday, February 16. The announcement has been made at this date in order to allow candidates to prepare during to Christmas recess for the trials, which will be held Friday, January 19.
Professor L. J. A. Mercier will be in charge of the debate. The subject announced is: Resolved, that the army program of France as announced at the Armament Conference is justifiable. At the trials, candidates will make five minute speeches on each side. Candidates desiring further information should consult R. S. Fanning '23, Shepherd 13, representing a Joint committee of the Debating Council and the French Department.
