The Letz Quartet will give the second of a series of concerts of chamber music under the auspices of the Division of Music Friday evening at 8.15 o'clock. The concert, which will be open to the public without charge for admission, will be held in the John Knowles Paine Concert Hall of the Music Building.
As the featured number on the program, the quartet, assisted by Mr. Hugo Kortschak on the viola, will play Brahms' Quintet for Two Violins, Two Violas, and 'Cello. The members of the quartet are Mr. Hans Letz, first violin; Mr. Sandor Harmati, second violin; Mr. Edward Kreiner, viola; and Mr. Lajos Shuk, violoncello.
Seats will be reserved for officers and students of the University until 8 o'clock; after that time the public will be admitted. The third and last concert of the series will be given on Tuesday evening, February 28, by the Elshuco Trio.
