As a result of the competition held recently to design sets and costumes for "Pastora Impera", a play by Miss Gertrude Thurber of Radcliffe College, the 47 Workshop has announced that the designs of the following competitors have been accepted and will be used if the play is chosen for the next production of the company:

Act 2, Scene 1.--G. H. Code '18.

Act 2, Scene 2.--R. L. Wayne 2G. and S. R. McCandless 2S.A.

Act 3.--No choice. The subject will be re-submitted for competition.

Act 4.--Miss Eleanor Eustis.

Act 5.--D. M. Oenslager '23.

Although not chosen for first place, honorable mention was given to John McAndrew '24 and to W. H. Littlefield '24 for their work on the second scene of Act 2 and to R. K. Webel '23 for his design for Act 3.

Of the series of designs submitted, those of Oenslager were most praised as a whole, while the most acceptable set of costumes were designed by Miss Pauline Hatfield.

Tomorrow evening from 7.30 to 9 o'clock all the models for both settings and costumes will be on exhibition to the public in the Workshop in Lower Massachusetts Hall.

Four one act plays are to be produced by the Workshop Company before the Christmas vacation. On Friday in Massachusetts Hall "Nothing at All" by Miss Isabelle Lawrence and "The Law of the Road" by H. F. Carlton 2G. will be given, while on Wednesday, December 21, "Green Glass" by R. L. Wayne 2G. and "His Chance" by Mrs. C. A. Wood will be produced.
