The Pierian Sodality Orchestra will present its second concert of the year tomorrow afternoon in the Auditorium at Springfield. Since its reorganization this fall the Pierian, under the leadership of W. H. Piston '24, considered an unusually accomplished violinist and pianist, has been making noteworthy progress, and has attracted favorable attention from music critics.

A full symphony orchestra of seventy-five pieces will make the trip to Springfield where the concert will be held under the auspices of the local Y. M. C. A. Featured numbers on the program include Mendelssohn's Overture to "Fingal's Cave" in which the Pierian exhibits qualities of ensemble and tonal color not usually found except in professional orchestras, and the Prelude to "The Deluge" of Saint-Saens.

The complete program follows: Overture: "Fingal's Cave" Mendelssohn Cello Solo  Mr. K. V. A. Forbes Prelude to "The Deluge"  Saint-Saens Ballet Suite  Gluck (a) Aria from "Orpheus (b) Musette from "Armide" Valse Triste  Sibelius Hungarian March from "The Damnation of Faust"  Berlioz
