BLACK JERSEYED SCRUBS TO SHOW ELI PLAYS IN PRACTICE

Coach Fisher gave his University Team A another rest yesterday afternoon, but put the remainder of the squad through a stiff work-out. In addition to the eleven men who started the Princeton game, Ladd, who went in at right tackle for Tierney, was included in the vacation. The entire Crimson squad, except for the injured players, will report at the Stadium today as usual.

There are only five men on the University squad who cannot at present do active work, Chapin, Coburn, Crocker, Gehrke, and Tierney. Although it is not probable that any of them will be able to play in the Brown game this Saturday, it is fairly certain that all will be ready for the Elis on the 19th. Tierney and Crocker, both out with bad ankles, and Coburn, who has a swollen leg, are the three regulars who suffered most from Saturday's hard struggle. Chapin, who hurt his arm in the Centre game, may be back on condition this week, but Gehrke, whose broken jaw, received in the contest with the southerners, is still far from well, is not is not sure of recovering in time for the Yale.
