GORE AHEAD IN FALL SPORT COMPETITION

Leads Smith by One Point Due to Victories in Football and Rowing--Tennis, Handball, and Numeral Men Still to Be Counted

The competition among the three Freshman dormitories for the fall sport championship is now more than hall completed. As a result of the contests in rowing, interdormitory football and cross-country Gore Hall now has a lead of one point, the detailed scores being as follows:   Gore  Smith  Standish Rowing  19  17  6 Football  5  2  2 Cross-Country  1  5  3 Total  25  24  11

To determine the final championship the winners in tennis, and handball and the men winning their numerals in football, cross-country and soccer, must be counted in. The tennis tournament; however, is nearly completed, and the handball tournament well underway, while the letter men will be announced at the close of the regular fall season.

The Hall winning the championship will have its name engraved on the shields in the Common Rooms of the three dormitories.
