Today is the last day that contestants in the Hasty Pudding Club play competition may hand in manuscripts. On account of a revision of plans in the club by which work on the play will begin earlier this year than formerly, special promptness must be observed in submitting manuscripts. The competition is only for writing the book, and does not include the lyrics and music, upon which work will begin as soon as the book has been decided upon.
Anyone in the University is eligible to the competition. Only Juniors and Seniors, however, will be elected members of the club if their work is accepted. Successful Freshmen or Sophomores will be given suitable prizes.
All manuscripts must be typewritten and may be written by a single person or in collaboration, but not more than two may combine on the book. Manuscripts will be received by the secretary of the Hasty Pudding Club, G. M. Appleton '22, Grays Hall 14.
