To the Editor of the CRIMSON:
In today's edition of the Boston Globe, Professor Dallas Gore Sharp of Boston University is quoted as having made the following statements in a speech before the Wisconsin Teachers' Association at Milwaukee on November 3, yesterday, "-because the Harvard Faculty Knows nothing of our public schools", "I (Professor Sharp) pointed out that only one child of a Harvard professor attends the public schools of Cambridge."
There may be only one child of a Harvard professor in these schools today, but allow me to name the professors who have sent their children to the High and Latin School in Cambridge in the last few years. They are, Dean, Fenn (3), Professor Baker (2), Professor Carver (2), Professor Killam (2), Dean Briggs (1), Dean Gray (1), Professor A. B. Hart (2), Mr. Mason, Bursar (1).
It would seem as if some of our ablest professors knew something of the public school system. HARRY J. BHAN '16. November 4, 1921.
