TRACK TEAM WEIGHT MEN START PRACTICE TODAY

Men From Football Squads to Be Called Out at 2.30--To Be in Charge of Coach Farrell and Captain Brown--Look for Results From Early Start

Practice in the weight events for the University and Freshman track teams will start this afternoon at 2.30 o'clock when football men from both the 1925 and University squad will report to Coach Farrell at the Stadium. A number of men have been picked from these squads, who are considered to have possibilities for the weight events, by Coaches Bingham and Farrell and by Captain J. F. Brown '22.

The graduation of J. R. Tolbert 1L, will cause a gap which must be filled, and with an early start a great advantage may be gained in this direction. The hammer throwers will be instructed by Coach Farrell and by Captain Brown, who by his showing last year proved himself one of the best hammer throwers in intercollegiate track. Coach Farrell will be at the cage every day at 2.30 o'clock to instruct men in the shot put, and the hammer and discus throws.
