BASKETBALL MEN STILL DOING ELEMENTARY WORK

Coaches Wachter and Tolbert Still Giving Men Practice in Fundamentals--First Game Only a Week Off--Practice Games to Start Early Next Week

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

At practice Wednesday afternoon Coach Wachter kept to his policy of giving a thorough grounding in fundamentals and as a result the basketball candidates were sent through only elementary work in handling the ball passing, and shooting.

Since only seven more days of practice remain before the initial contest with the Connecticut Agricultural College on December 6, the large squad now reporting will probably be cut Monday because Coaches Wachter and Tolbert have found that they could not give to the large group the necessary individual attention.

Early next week the first and second teams will be made up and practice games played daily at the end of the workout.
