This evening from 7.30 to 9 o'clock the College Observatory, located on Concord avenue opposite Buckingham street, will hold the first of its "open nights" upon which the public may visit the building. Weather permitting, a short illustrated talk by a member of the Observatory staff on some phase of recent astronomical work will be preceded by telescopic observations of the various constellations.
The number of visitors will be limited to 30. Tickets of admission can be obtained without charge upon application either to the College Observatory or to the Astronomical Laboratory on Jarvis Field.
