The University Gun Club held the last of its weekly handicap shoots yesterday, although the members of the squad which will take part in the match with the Yale Gun Club on Saturday morning will participate in a practice shoot tomorrow afternoon.
Donald Maxwell '23, with a total of 45 hits, won first scratch honors at yesterday's shoot, while J. M. Forbes '23 was high handicap shot, with a score of 44. L. R. Forest '23 and R. W. Read '22 tied for second handicap honors with scratch totals of 40 and 37 respectively. The American Trap Shooting Association's trophy which was recently presented to the Club has been awarded to C. B. Austin 2L., who had a total for the shoots of the last two weeks of 91 out of a possible 100.
As the result of the fall shoots, the following men have been selected for the squad that will oppose Yale Saturday: C. B. Austin 2L., J. C. Bancroft '23, B. M. Baruch Jr. '23, J. M. Forbes '23, W. D. H. Hutting '22, Donald Maxwell '23, and J. B. Paine Jr. '22.
