The fact Yale freshman team decisively defeated the 1925 cross-country team on Saturday by a score of 21 to 43. The Blue team out-distanced the Crimson yearlings from the beginning of the race, in spite of good running on the part of B. R. Catcheon and W. L. Chapin Jr. for the University.
The men who scored at the finish are as follows: P. Adams, Yale, first; R. C. Freelander, Yale second; B. R. Catcheon '25, third; W. L. Chapin Jr. '25, fourth; R. W. Hodgkins, Yale, fifth; E. A. Wilmot, Yale, sixth; C. Whittlesey, Yale, seventh; R. M. Barber '25, eleventh; A. f. Jones '25, twelfth; G. F. Kent '25, thirteenth.
