"The Washington Conference in Miniature" will discuss the question of disarmament under the auspices of the Student Liberal Club in the Living Room of the Union on Tuesday evening, November 15, at 7.30 o'clock. Lieutenant-Governor Alvin T. Fuller will preside. The Various nations taking part in the Conference will be represented by student speakers as follows:

China, C. Li 2G: England, T. F. T. Plucknett IG.; France, G. L. G. Eurin sL.; Italy, D. A. Pincherle gr.Dv.; Japan, M. L. Iwamato 4G,: United States, R. S. Fanning '23.

The question will be phrased as follows: "Resolved: That to prevent the next war it is necessary that there be universal recognition of the Open Door in China, an immediate and complete naval holiday; progressive reduction of all armament; readmission of Germany and Russia into the family of nations; and an association of all nations to establish and maintain justice."

Though each of the student speakers, in the five minutes allotted to him, will not be able to discuss every phase of the question, it will be the central theme about which all the speeches will be made. After the speakers have finished there will be discussion from the floor and then a vote on the resolution.

The meeting, which is open to all members of the University, will be preceded by a dinner to Lieutenant-Governor Fuller at the Liberal Club, at which only members of the Club and invited guests may be present.
