Lacrosse Season to Start at 3

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

This afternoon at three o'clock the University lacrosse team will open its fall season with a meeting in the Locker Building. Since no experience is necessary, all men interested are urged to report. Fall practice is open to Freshmen and 1926 men who intend to play lacrosse either now or in the spring should, if possible report at this meeting.

At the same time, a short competition will start for the position of Second Assistant Manager. The competition is open to all Sophomores and the winner will automatically become lacrosse Manager in his Senior year.

At present it is planned to hold practice only three times a week. This fall the coaches will lay special emphasis on the development of fundamentals. No outside games will be played but numerous informal matches will furnish excellent preparation for the spring season.
