Soccer Candidates Scrimmage

Coach Charles Burgess of the University Soccer Team expressed himself as extremely optomistic over the prospects for a successful season when he supervised practice on Soldiers Field for the first time yesterday afternoon.

A short scrimmage between two teams picked at random from the candidates for the University team featured the practice, while the Freshmen workout was confined to goal shooting and kicking.

More candidates for the competition for the managership of the Freshman Soccer Team are needed.
