The opening of the University Fall Tennis Tournament, postponed on account of rain, will take place this afternoon. The doubles tournament is also postponed, beginning Thursday instead of tomorrow, as previously announced.

This year the winner of the singles tournament will have his name inscribed on the silver cup annually presented to the singles champion. He will also receive a gold medal, and the runner-up will be awarded a silver medal. The winners of the doubles tournament will both receive gold medals, and the runners-up will be awarded silver medals.

A revised list of matches, which withdrawals have made necessary, will be posted this morning on the bulletin board at Leavitt and Peirce's.
