LAW STUDENTS ADDRESSED

Warnings and Advice Given Entering Class at Reception in Union

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

"Twenty five percent of the entering class at the Law School last year were not permitted to return this year", was the warning sounded by Acting Dean Edward Warren '77 to the first year law students gathered in the Living Room of the Union last evening. "During the first year," Dean Warren continued, "the student should acquire the capacity for clear and level headed thinking. This is the elementary requirement for a real lawyer".

Robert Cutler 3L then outlined the work of the discussion clubs which all law students are strongly advised to join. President Lowell was the last speaker. He concluded an impressive address by saying "Law deals with human relations and the more you know about human relations, the better lawyer you will be".
