At the reception given by the Union to the Glee Club last night, an audience which overflowed the Living Room heard Dr. A. T. Davison '06 describe the trip of the club through Europe during the past summer. R. K. Kane '22, Vice-President of the Union, in introducing Dr. Davison, spoke of the high position which the University Glee Club holds among similar organizations, and declared that much of the credit for this must be given to Dr. Davison.

In his introductory remarks Dr. Davison said that the success of the trip was due in large measure to the efforts of Hamilton McFadden '21, the manager of the Glee Club, and to Professor E. C. Moore, the Faculty representative on the tour. He then went on to describe the many interesting incidents of the trip.

Afterwards a series of 50 slides, made from photographs taken by members of the club at various stopping places, was shown, C. D. Whidden '23 describing the pictures. A reel that was made by a Y. M. C. A. photographer with the Army of Occupation and which is now the property of the Glee Club was also thrown on the screen. In conclusion, four of the most popular numbers of the club program were sung.
