In a mile race in the Basin this afternoon the first Freshman dormitory crews will compete for the fall championship. The other dormitory crews will race over a half-mile stretch at times scheduled between 4 and 5 o'clock. The dormitory which is credited with the most points will have its name engraved on the tablets in the dormitory Common Rooms.

Tomorrow afternoon the first Freshman crew will race the two 150-pound class crews, and the second Freshman eight will race the combination class crew. The first crews of the three upper classes will also compete.
