All the resources of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and facilities to training men to operate the railroads the event of a strike have been placed at the disposal of the Commonwealth Massachusetts by the executive committee of the corporation which sent a letter to Governor Con making the offer M. I. T. is the first of the colleges to offer in services.

Plans have been started for the instruction in practical phases of any students who may present themselves and any men who may be sent to take the course by the State.
