THREE EQUITATION SECTIONS OF R. O. T. C. START THIS WEEK

Each to be Divided into Classes for Beginners and Experienced Men--To Use Horses Brought from Camp Devens

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

With the fifty horses brought in from Camp Devens over the week-end, equitation started yesterday afternoon for students in the Military Science Department. There are three sections from which those electing equitation may choose. These are: Monday and Thursday from 1.30 to 3 o'clock; Monday and Thursday from 3 to 4.30 o'clock; and Tuesday and Friday from 1.30 to 3 o'clock. Each section will be divided into three classes, one for beginners and two for experienced men. The beginners' class will be instructed in the methods of saddling, mounting, dismounting and bareback riding. Those in the advanced classes will have the privilege of drawing cut horses whenever they are not needed for classes. Last year many took advantage of this ruling by taking all day hikes into the country on Saturdays

Students may sign up for any equitation section on the Military Science bulletin board in Wadsworth House. Breeches and leggins may be obtained today from the supply sergeant at the Smith Hall armory from 1 to 3 o'clock.
