FALL TOURNAMENT GOES INTO SEMI-FINALS

Fifth Round in Doubles and Sixth in Singles Practically Completed--Morris Duane '23, University Captain Survives Both

With the exception of one or two matches the sixth round of singles in the University Fall Tennis Tournament is finished. In the doubles the fifth round has been practically completed. Morris Duane '23, captain of the University tennis team, advanced into the semi-finals of the singles, and with W. W. Ingraham '25 into the semi-finals of the doubles play.

The results of yesterday's singles matches were as follows:

Sixth Round.--R. Bradley '25 defeated H. M. Stevens '25, 6-4, 9-7; J. M. Kleberg '22 defeated F. M. Bundy 1L. by default; Morris Duane '23 defeated L. D. Hill '22, 6-1, 6-1.

In the Doubles Tournament, results were as follows:

Fifth Round.--H. P. Guild 3L. and B. Dell 2G. defeated J. D. Farnham '23 and C. W. Farnham '24, 6-0, 6-3; Morris Duane '23 and W. W. Ingraham '25 defeated G. B. Manning '25 and L. Bonds '25, 6-1, 3-6, 6-2.
