Coach Slattery's Men Make Five Runs in Short Informal Game--E. F. Goode '22 Allows Only One Hit

The baseball team of the Old Colony Trust Company of Boston was defeated 5-0 in a four and one-half inning game by Coach Slattery's squad at Soldiers Field yesterday afternoon. In the second inning with two out of three men on bases E. F. Goode '22 tripled and then scored on a single by D. F. Thayer '23, who later corssed the plate on a two baggier by J. S. Clark '23.

Goode pitched an exceptionally fine game for the University, allowing only one hit. The batteries were; for the Trust Company, Kingsbury and Bishop; for the University, Goode and L. C. Larrabeo '24.
